Anthony Owsley Deceptive. Starting out sounding like it would fit into the lo-fi synth-pop genre, it quickly takes a post-punk turn. Despite the Urdu lyrics I can imagine myself seeing them in a late '70s New York club. Favorite track: Intezar.
